The Rules

No transport of any kind

– no lifts to pubs
– no taxis, including pick ups and drop offs from route
– no ferry crossings
– no buses

from the start at Lands End to the end at John O’Groats there’ll be no breaks from the route, i.e. trips home. I’ll just be walking.

Transportation of equipment is allowed though, including sending equipment ahead by taxi, dropping it off with friends and picking it up later. Letting others carry maps and guides etc..
