Day 4 – Hunstanton to Burnham Deepdale

If the first 3 days of this trek were the starter, say the complimentary bread roll & butter. Then today was the start of the main course; slow roast pork belly with crispy crackling, juicy apple sauce & dauphinoise potatoes.

I went back along the beach to where the Peddar’s Way had ended @ Holme-next-the-sea then it was onto some of the finest coastal paths, (not as good as Cornwall, sorry) many people who like birds peering through their binoculars… then when I reached Thornham the ‘coast’ path inextricably takes a course 1.5 miles inland 🤦🏻‍♂️… the walking was pretty good as I was bathed in early afternoon sun and the path was wide and easy going.

When I reached my destination (an easy, short day on the trail) @ Burnham Deepdale I found “The Best campsite in the World” #probably
