Day 5 – Burnham Deepdale to Blakeney

19.4miles
Well today started a little late as I had to return the laundry key to get my deposit back …. When that was secured I quickly made my way on to the flood defences that prevent the sea water getting to the ‘fresh water’ parts of the flood plain … after a few miles of this Tommy & Gina would have said ‘Woah’…’We’re half way there’ before I enjoyed the best beach walk ‘ever’ along Holkham Beach, many out galloping their horses along the shoreline.
This was followed by the throngs of tourists @ Wells-next-the-sea… shortly after Wells I decided to stop for a pint at the Red Lion @ Stiffkey… not recommended.
Just a few miles then remained until my final destination @ Blakeney where I stopped for an evening meal and a few pints at the King’s Arms before hiking to my campsite in the pitch dark
